FREDERICK BROWN UTLEY, III (Fred). Born March 3, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of Frederick Brown Utley, Jr. (Class of ’38) and Barbara Anne Clark Utley. Attended Phillips Academy, Andover, Massachusetts. Entered Yale Sept., 1965. American Studies major; Andrew D. White Prize, first place honorable mention, in History, 1966; Dean’s List, 1965-66 (fall term),
1966-67; Ranking Scholar, 1965-66 (spring term); Yale Honorary National Scholarship, 1965-69. Resident: Pierson (College Council, 1967-69).
