JOHN ROBERT ADAMS. Born November 23, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan, son of Ann Cooper Adams. Attended Robert E. Lee School, Midland, Texas, and Robert E. Lee School, Houston, Texas; Texas A&M University, NSF Summer Institute, 1964. Entered Yale Sept., 1965. Mathematics and Philosophy major; Andrew White Memorial Prize in historical writing, honorable mention, 1967; Dean’s List, 1965-66 (fall term); Daniel G. Tenney Memorial Scholarship,
1966-69. Resident: Berkeley (Arts Festival, 1967).
