PAUL CARLTON FIELD. Born December 11, 1947 in Schenectady, New York, son of John Richard Field and Esther Louise Bat-tenhouse Field. Attended Mayme S. Wag-gener High School, Louisville, Kentucky, and Northwest Classen High School, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Entered Yale Sept., 1965. English major.
