STEPHEN MICHAEL VAUGHAN (Steve). Born June 3, 1947 in Winchester, Kentucky, son of Harold Lee Vaughan and Irene Wilson Vaughan. Attended Thomas Jefferson High School, Dallas, Texas, and Sandia High School, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Entered Yale Sept., 1965. Attended Universitat Hamburg, Germany, Sept., 1967 to June, 1968. Intensive German major; Book Award in German, 1966; Dean’s List, 1965-66 (fall term); Ranking Scholar, 1965-66 (spring term); DuPuy Scholarship, 1965-66; Clark Foundation Scholarship, 1966-69.
