THOMAS JAMES WALSH, JR. (Tom). Born October 22, 1947 in Memphis, Tennessee, son of Thomas James Walsh and Lois Rhine Gibson Walsh. Attended Kingsbury High School, Memphis, Tennessee. Entered Yale Sept., 1965. English major; Dean’s List, 1965-66 (spring term), 1966-67 (spring term); Elihu Memorial Scholarship, 1968-69; Tennessee Education Association Scholarship, 1965. Resident: Silliman. (Occasional Organ, 1967-69; Bell Ringers, 1967-68). Alpha Phi Omega, 1967-68; Dwight Hall Tutoring, 1966-69; Yale Blood Drive, 1968, Silliman College Captain; Yale Marching Band, 1966-68. Future study: Law. Future occupation: Law. Married Jean McKee Walsh May 1969; she died June 2016 after 47 happy years together. Two daughters, both nurse practitioners, Courtney Marsh (husband Peter) of Fairfax VA and Meredith Walsh (husband Kyle Tingley) of Memphis TN. Three granddaughters, Molly, Becca, and Amelia Marsh.
