Any Views On “Being Gay At Yale”?

Gay or straight, do you have thoughts to share?

The 50th Reunion ClassBook will have our “Personal Essays”, but it will also host some “Invited Essays” on topics of broad interest.  One of these has a working title, Being Gay At Yale [in the 60s].

Two classmates, artist Bill Stanisich and educator Jeff Horton have agreed to author/edit the essay.  They have their own views, and that of people they know from Yale 1969 personally.  But they would like to talk with any Classmate who has observations, experiences or thoughts on the subject which he would like to share.

Jeff and Bill promise confidentiality, and it doesn’t matter if you personally are gay or straight.  What matters is if you have an insight which they can use to make the final product of more value for the Class as a whole.

So, if you have some thoughts to share with the authors, please get in touch with them ASAP.  (Time is of the essence; the deadline is March 1st.)

You can reach Bill at 415-613-0436 or wjstanisich@comcast.net or Jeff at 323-806-5707 or jp1horton@me.com.
