From Harvard Law Today (2001): Jeffrey T. Graham ’74 of Jamaica Plain, Mass., died March 30, 2001. He was former director of government affairs and community investment for BankBoston. He joined the institution as senior public affairs counsel in 1983, when it was called Bank of Boston, and during his 17-year career there was responsible for its community investment portfolio throughout New England. He also acted as BankBoston’s liaison between local and national government officials, voicing community concerns and helping to develop programs designed to provide equal opportunity to low-income people and struggling small businesses, and he developed equal-access-to-lending programs in Boston, Providence, and New Haven. Graham began his career at the Michigan Department of Commerce and as an executive assistant to Governor William Milliken.
