ATHERTON, JOHN MCDOUGAL III, 65, of Louisville, died March 2, 2012 at Hosparus Inpatient Unit.

He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School and Yale University.

He was predeceased by his father, R. Allan Neblett and his mother, Sarah Anderson Atherton.

He is survived by three brothers, Allan (Elsie), Peter (Elizabeth) and Alexander (Carol); and a cousin, Cornelia Yankovich (Bob).
