UPDATE: Caribbean Coral Reef Book Published

You may recall that classmate Bill Sacco, in collaboration with Jim Porter, was looking for a publisher.  See A Photographic Guide To The Caribbean Coral Reef for some stunning images from that earlier article.

Well, we are delighted to report that the book is now available, published by CRC – Taylor & Francis Group, in the UK.  The new title is The Caribbean Coral Reef: A Record of an Ecosystem Under Threat.  See cover, left.

Bill reports “Needless to say, I am extremely pleased to see it published at last. The book got high praise from the people the publisher asked to review it for them, and that was very satisfying.”

In an effort to get the word out more broadly. Bill has also made a much simpler 48-page book called Life on a Caribbean Coral Reef, which is aimed at middle to high school people.

He’s looking for publishers or others who can help get this 48-page version  into the hands of the next generation.  If you can help, please contact us or Bill directly.
