College With Best Attendance Will Win Long Weekend on St. Croix
The Reunion Committee is happy to announce our equivalent of a challenge grant: The college with the largest number of attendees (as a percent of its total) will be able to spend a very long weekend in St. Croix, with free accommodation at this spectacular, private, seaside villa!
The venue is George Chopivsky’s wonderful place on Pyramid Point, St. Croix. See its website for some fabulous pictures and more details, but it’s really stunning. It has four separate guest houses with seven available guest bedrooms — and a total of five king beds, five singles, and two or three couches for sleeping arrangements.
We did this same “challenge” in 2011 for our 40th reunion, and the people who attended had a blast! All we had to do was fly there and split the cost of food.
So, call your roommates and friends in the college! Urge them to come. Maybe you’ll win a free long weekend in the Caribbean!
The fine print:
- We’ll schedule this for a Saturday arrival and Tuesday or Wednesday departure for late summer or early autumn.
- If the number of people wanting to come would create an “oversubscribed” status, we’ll cut back to “boys weekend only” (no spouses) and “first come, first served.”
- Decisions of the Reunion Committee are final. No one has any vested rights!
