55th Reunion Announced: Save the Dates, May 30 – June 2, 2024
Save The Date
Go ahead. Grab your calendar and add “Go to Yale reunion” for that weekend.
We will share more details as they become available.
College. We don’t yet know which college we are in. In 2023, the Class of ’68 was in TD, but there can be no assurance that we’ll get the same residential college.
Hotels. We know that classmates and their guests often prefer staying in nearby hotels. The hotels aren’t taking reservations yet. But, just as we did for the 50th (see “50th Reunion, Hotel Hacks“), we’ll keep you apprised of what we can learn and when you can pounce.
Program. See the related story “Reunion Committee Seeks YOUR Ad Hoc Input for Program,” which outlines the reunion program development. As you may remember, the YAA creates “campus-wide” seminars, tours, demonstrations, events, etc., that are of general interest to all alumni, and all classes.
In addition, there are a few time slots reserved for “class-only” events. Please do read Reunion Committee Seeks YOUR Ad Hoc Input for Program and add YOUR input.
Registration, Cost. The YAA and the Class will negotiate the final fee in early 2024, and online registration will be opened up in early Spring, along with an outline of the final program. We’ll keep you apprised of those developments.
Action Items. Now’s the time to call your roommate, teammate, singing group brother, spookmate or other Yale friend. Email folks in your entryway. Plan to see each other at the reunion. And don’t forget to check out Reunion Committee Seeks YOUR Ad Hoc Input for Program before you close your browser.
Suggestions, Questions: Email to “reunion@Yale1969.org” — which goes to co-chaira Bill Newman and Derry Allen.
