My journey since days at Yale has been much different than I would have imagined or predicted. The highs and lows along the way have led me to a clearer understanding of my role on this earth. I believe that my purpose in this life is to help others be successful in achieving their own dreams. This starts with my own family, but it has become a focus of my professional life as well.
I have been blessed to share this journey with my wife, Linda, for almost 50 years. She has supported and pushed me along the way. She has taught me the power of forgiveness and the importance of unconditionally loving those we meet along the way. Together we have raised three wonderful children and we are blessed with six healthy grandchildren.
Faith, family, and friends are the source of my happiness. Learning to prioritize time for these areas of life has at times been difficult for me, but it is a great blessing and source of energy for me.
My days at Yale have served as a foundation for all that has happened since then. Most importantly, Yale gave me the opportunity to meet classmates from different parts of the country, with different beliefs and aspirations. Discussions around the dinner table and in dorm rooms helped me appreciate the diversity of life.
