Currently involved in insurance sales, No Labels (a non-profit encouraging bipartisanship) as their lead person in KS's 2nd and 3rd Congressional districts and involved in a variety of other non-profits (good topic to network about). I help advisors sell (and sometimes I sell) life insurance, long-term care insurance, and annuities with an innovative system that is consumer-facing as well as advisor-facing. I created a unique Range of Exposure tool that projects an individual's or couple's chances of spending various levels on Long Term Care based on age, gender, marital status and other variables. I write the most comprehensive annual survey of the long-term care insurance industry since 2005. Earlier, I was an inner-city math teacher, then became an actuary. I led development the first life insurance policy linked to T-bills; started a branch in Taiwan; and headed long-term care insurance, travel insurance and group insurance businesses.
