  1. This is sad news. David was the young man seated next to me in Prof. William Kessens’s course in developmental psychology. It was my first class on the first day of the fall 1965 semester. David and I struck up a conversation. He was soft-spoken, witty and obviously gifted intellectually. Our paths crossed in the early 1970’s when I discovered David would be teaching the Philosophy of Law class I had elected. I later entrusted my mother’s estate work to David in Florida. Lovely guy, supremely talented lawyer. Generous and self-effacing. I will miss him. Peter Storey
