Reunion Reports: Help Needed!

Editor’s Note: I need to publish a newsletter today in order to announce next week’s  “Boominar” on Women. (See the next story and register if you are interested).  See also some “In Memoriam” posts below … part of our commitment to stay more current on those sad announcements.

I’m still working on reunion stories, and I need help from those who attended.  If you found any of the reunion events particularly remarkable, I’d LOVE for you to send your “reunion reflections” to support@Yale1969.org.  It might be a lecture, tour or special conversation.  It might be some pictures (or videos).  It might be something you learned and could share.

For example, I went to a lecture on Architecture and the City, taught by Elihu Rubin ’99, a protégé of Vincent Scully.  I took Scully’s course on Modern Architecture, and Professor Rubin basically picked up where Scully left off.  It was magical, energizing. It felt complete.  I floated out of that lecture and plan to write that up as a “Reunion Reflection.”

To help jog our memory, here is the rough draft that lists all the YAA lectures and tours.  See also the list of receptions, open houses, exhibitions, and other special events.  And don’t forget the Class Programs.
