Go down to the “Comments” area below and list the destination and why you chose it.   (Or if you prefer email, email me at support@Yale1969.org.)

Daily, I’ll copy/paste all submissions into the table below.

  • I will return to Panama where my sailboat is presently in a marina on the Caribbean side of the Panama Canal.  We’ll transit the Canal and continue on with a planned sailing trip to French Polynesia.

  • British Columbia.  Ski-trip with friends.  Heli-ski can be a wonderful and compelling experience.

  • I want to go to Buenos Aires, spend a month and explore all the cool things I’ve heard about it.

  • to see our kids and granddaughters in the East Bay of San Fran

  • The Society and the Marquesas Islands.  That’s the first of three trips canceled due to the pandemic.

  • I’d travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to see my daughter who just moved there for her first full-time job.

  • Mary and I will take a Mediterranean cruise on Viking from Athens to Rome. I love the cities we’ll put into, and it’s also a route I took in the Navy as Ops officer of the USS Opportune. Only differences:  better chow this time, and I won’t have to stand the mid-Watch!

  • Egypt and Jordan: We were all set to take a trip this year.  But alas, the trip was postponed.   I’ve always been fascinated by Egyptian archeology, so when my brother in law told us about a trip he and my sister in law were taking, I looked at my wife Marsha Baker and asked her rather spontaneously, “Why don’t we go too?”  I’m usually not that impulsive, but we had mused about such a trip for a while and I used this chance to force us off our indecision.  I hope we will get to go: we’re not getting younger…

  • Myra wants to go back to France. Again? Actually, she had rented a house somewhere in the south of France (where else?) for this past May. This plan was postponed to May 2021.

  • Ireland. We were scheduled to take a pilgrimage to early Christian sites in the Emerald Isles for two weeks at the end of August this year; it’s now been postponed to next August and we’re just praying this madness will have subsided enough to allow it then.

  • I want to travel to Canada (Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec) to explore organizational consulting opportunities.  My most rewarding consulting projects in the last quarter-century have been in mining or forest products industries in northern Canada.

  • Depending on the time of year, either to LA to visit our oldest son or to the Keys to fish the flats.

  • I will be travelling with cuddly consort Helen from Southampton to New York by ship and across the US by rented car, savouring the delights of a (hopefully) post-COVID and post-Trump nation. The return leg will also be by ship, possibly the Queen Mary II.

  • The FIRST place would be back to NY-CT to see my children and grandchildren whom I have not seen for a year.  My work with AYAM gave me an excuse and an opportunity to get back there about every two months. Enough of this FaceTime grandparenting! Beyond that, I miss bicycling in Europe, which we were doing in the summers. Other than the physical exercise, it gave me substance to my art history major and kept my French and Italian comfortable.  I hope this is all over before I am too old to be able to pedal, but I suppose we could drive.

  • New York City, assuming entertainment venues are open again (I’m expecting a long wait). We own a fractional apartment at Lincoln Center that we haven’t seen since last December. (Sigh).

  • First trip to SPAIN in Andalucia near the city of Cordoba, where our daughter lives. It’s a beautiful place with a friendly lifestyle, we miss going there.
